PLXY is a small independent software studio. We build focused internal tools for the teams who have to answer for how software is actually used — not dashboards for their own sake, but instruments a manager can put in front of a finance committee and defend line by line.

Claude Organization Usage Monitor is one of those tools.

Why we built it

Organizations adopt Claude quickly. Seats get assigned, budgets get approved, and then somebody asks the obvious question — who is actually using this? — and the honest answer is a spreadsheet somebody exported by hand last quarter.

That gap is what this application closes, and it shaped three decisions that run through the whole product:

A number you can defend, not a number that looks good. Adding messages to sessions to tokens produces a figure nobody can justify. The Weighted Usage Index instead scores each account against configurable targets with explicit weights and contribution caps, and shows the formula, the policy version and the per-metric breakdown in the interface and in every exported report. If a manager is asked where 62% came from, the answer is on the page.

Missing data is missing, never zero. An account with no data is not an account with no usage — it may simply be a metric your plan does not expose. Every data category is probed and reported as Available or Unavailable with the reason, and anything unavailable is shown as Unavailable or No Data. Nobody gets flagged as a low performer because of an API gap.

Monitoring, not enforcement. The application reads. It never modifies, suspends or removes an account, and it never touches conversation content, prompts, files or source code — only usage metadata. Low usage is a conversation to have with a person, and the Alert Exemptions register exists so that conversation can be recorded rather than repeated every month.

How we build

  • Official sources only. Every figure comes from a documented Anthropic API or an official export file, read-only. No scraping, no browser automation, no private endpoints.
  • Local by default. A native Windows application with no server to run and no account to create. Your data stays in your Windows user profile; credentials live in Windows Credential Manager, never in a file.
  • Verified before it ships. Every release passes the full automated test suite and an end-to-end run of the packaged executable before the download is published, with SHA-256 checksums so you can confirm what you received.
  • Evaluated without trust. Demo Mode runs the entire application against an anonymized synthetic organization, so you can judge it before it ever sees a real API key.
