Usage analyzer¶
Export your organization's analytics from claude.ai, drop the CSV below, set your minimum-usage criteria, then Generate — a dashboard and a management-ready report open together, with the same figures the desktop application produces. No install, no API key, no account.
Your file never leaves this device
The analysis runs entirely in this browser tab using the local file API. There is no upload, no server and no analytics on this page — the code contains no network calls at all. Employee email addresses are personal data: that is why the tool is built this way.
Your settings — criteria, exclusion list, organization name and logo — are remembered in this browser so next month is one drop away. The CSV files are never stored; close the tab and the data in them is gone. Clear saved settings on the Report identity step wipes what was kept.
Drop the CSV files
Upload one file or several — columns are detected across all of them and merged per person. Not sure which export to take? See .
Set your minimum-usage criteria
Weights and targets — the Weighted Usage Index
| Use | Metric | Weight | Target | Availability |
|---|
Index = 100 × Σ(weight × min(actual ÷ target, 200%)) ÷ Σ(applicable weights). Targets are written per the basis above and scaled to the period length. A metric your export does not contain is excluded from the denominator, never scored as zero — the same rule the desktop application applies to data a plan does not provide.
How the report is headed
Where to export from
| Export | Where | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| Members analytics (start here) | claude.ai/admin-settings/members → Analytics → export the period |
One row per person for the whole period: seat tier, last active, days active, and per-product activity across Chat, Claude Code and Cowork — all 19 columns are read |
| Claude Code analytics | claude.ai/analytics/claude-code → Leaderboard → Export all users |
Per-user Claude Code contribution: sessions, lines of code, pull requests, commits |
| Spend report | Organization settings → Analytics | Per user and per model: token usage and estimated spend |
| Members list | claude.ai/admin-settings/members |
The full seat roster, so people with no usage are counted rather than silently missing |
Admins and Owners can reach these pages. Exports are CSV; drop them straight into .
Usage analysis
Each status carries an icon and a label, so the bands never depend on colour alone.
Sorted lowest-usage first — the actionable order. A dash means the column was not in your upload; a zero is a real, measured zero.
What this page is, and is not¶
- It is a quick, private way to turn the Team-plan exports into a defensible usage picture with your own thresholds — useful for a monthly review, or to try the methodology before installing anything. The Dashboard tab is for exploring; the Report tab is a document you can print, save as PDF or circulate.
- It is not a replacement for the application. The desktop app keeps history across periods, tracks alerts and acknowledgements, holds the exemption register, versions the scoring policy, and exports seven report formats. This page analyzes exactly the files you drop, once.
- The numbers agree. The formula, the "unavailable is never zero" rule and the threshold bands are the same ones the application uses, so a figure here matches the figure there for the same data and the same criteria.
